| Hi, I am Walnut the Clown, professional Birthday Party Magic Clown, in Auckland, New Zealand. I have been a Children's Entertainer for 35 years having trained in Circus, Children's Theater, Magic, Puppetry, Balloon Twisting, Walk-about and Busking. I have toured both the North and South Islands of New Zealand 18 times, visiting communities as far south as Stewards Island and as far north as Te Hapua. Some schools had rolls as low as 10 pupils but I love to travel and I love children. Walnut the Clown is willing to entertain anywhere. I have also performed in France, Italy, Brazil, Easter Island, Australia and Vanuatu. I am primarily a children's entertainer specialising in PreSchools and Primary Schools (Ages 3 to 7) but I can also work intimately with adults in a casual environment such as a party or restaurant. I can perform on a large stage but prefer to work in more intimate venues. In 2007 I was delighted to receive from the Variety Artists of New Zealand, their "Scroll Of Honour". And I have been nominated four times for the Top Children's Entertainer Award. I now offer a jolly Father Christmas and a Xmas Clown Magic Show. |
